Find or Search for a Symbol

Browse the symbol categories when you want inspiration, or use search when you already know the look you want.

For example, you might search for:

Tap a symbol to copy it immediately or select it to use inside the name builder. A symbol such as ★ can be used by itself or combined with a base name such as ★Shadow. The goal is to help you find the right character without searching through an unorganized wall of hundreds of unsorted symbols.

Add It Before, After or Around Your Name

Paired characters create a distinct visual framing effect. For example: 『Shadow』 uses matching opening and closing characters rather than repeating the same character on both sides.

Preview and Copy Your Name

Check the complete nickname before copying it. A symbol can look clean by itself but become distracting when combined with styled letters, several decorations, or another symbol pair. The preview helps you judge the finished name rather than the individual character in isolation.

When you are happy with the result, use Copy Name to copy the complete version. If you only need the individual character, tap Copy Symbol instead.

Compare Nickname Compositions

Notice how the appearance transforms while keeping the core identity readable:

Each version keeps the word easy to identify while changing its appearance. Adding several unrelated characters to both sides can make the nickname harder to scan in fast-paced battle royales. If the decoration becomes more noticeable than the name itself, remove one element and compare again.

Use Paired Symbols for a Balanced Name

Some characters naturally work as opening and closing pairs:

These naturally create balanced results such as 『NOVA』 or 《NOVA》. Other symbols work well when repeated symmetrically: ★NOVA★ or 亗NOVA亗.

The Nickname Builder automatically suggests the matching closing character when you select a known pair, so you do not have to search for it separately.

Keep the Base Name Recognizable

A decorated nickname still needs a recognizable core.

If your base name is Ghost, adding one frame or accent preserves that identity cleanly: 『Ghost』. Heavy decoration, combining marks, styled letters, and multiple symbol layers can make the same word much harder to identify on spectator screens, squad voice overlays, and tournament kill feeds.

Try the simpler version first. You can always add another element after seeing the live preview.

Unicode Does Not Guarantee In-Game Support

For that reason, an untested symbol should not be described as guaranteed to work in Free Fire. Preview the design here, then verify your final nickname in the game before confirming a rename.

If your preferred character does not display properly, you should not have to restart your search.
